Day 1
Arrival Kochi

Gets holidays representative will welcome you post arrival at the airport and escort you to the hotel.

Day 2
Kochi-Munnar (127kms/3-4hrs drive approx.)

Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city, also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala. The ruler of Kochi allowed the Portuguese to construct a fort next to the waterfront here. Thus, emerged Fort Kochi. Also called Fort Emmanuel, Portuguese planned their livelihood around the church with settlements and church. St. Francis church, the first church of colonial era where Vasco-Da-Gama's body was buried before being taken to Portugal. You'll also come across Dutch cemetery, Santa Cruz Basilica, Indo Portuguese museum and Cochin Thirumala Devaswom Temple, Willingdon Island here.

This apart you cannot miss out on Chinese fishing nets. Cozy hangout zones selling beverages, snacks.Pre-independence, Arabian and Chinese traders exported sandalwood, cloves, cinnamon, pepper from Kochi. The tradition was later kept alive by the Dutch and British.

Thereafter you will drive straight to Munnar; upon arrival Munnar you will check in at a hotel and relax at hotel.

Day 3
Munnar-Kumarakom (137kms/3-4hrs drive approx.)

Today, enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of Munnar. In the morning, visit the Tea Museum in the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea, which showcases some of the exquisite and interesting aspects of the genesis and growth of tea plantations in Munnar. This Tea Museum houses curios, photographs and machinery. Later visit the Kundala tea plantations and the Kundala Lake… the mountain slopes here are thick with undulating, evergreen tea plantations. The shimmering blue lake is the most photographed part of Kundala. Take a stroll in the tea estate, and enjoy the refreshing mountain breeze. Here you can view the entire process of making tea, right from plucking of tealeaves to their processing.

Thereafter drive to Kumarakom; upon arrival Kumarakom check in at a hotel and relax at hotel

Day 4
Kumarakom-Mararikulam (40kms/1hr drive approx.)

Today, enjoy a walk inside the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on Vembanad Lake, which is home to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. An ornithologist's paradise, the sanctuary is spread across 14 acres, and is the favourite haunt of local birds like Waterfowl, Cuckoo, Owls, Egrets, Herons, Water Ducks, Parrots, Teal, Larks, Flycatchers and Wood Beetle. The Island of Pathiramanal ( meaning Sands of night), with its lush acres of wooded land, attracts a variety of migratory birds that flock in thousands, some from the Himalayas, some even from as far as Siberia… including the Siberian Crane.

At noon you will drive to Marari beach, Mararikulam and check-in at a beach resort.

Day 5
Mararikulam-Kochi (41kms/1hr drive approx.) & exit

After breakfast you will check out from the beach resort and then drive to Kochi airport to board flight for onward connection; henceforth your journey ends with sweet memories.
